Since 2022, iET Solutions has consistently expanded its AI capabilities, starting with the integration of AI directly into its on-premises solutions, while ensuring sensitive data remained secure. The journey continued with the addition of intelligent translation features, allowing seamless communication across more than 100 languages within the iET® Enterprise Technology and iET® ITSM platforms. Recognizing the rapid pace of AI innovation, iET® AI has been developed as a separate product with its own release schedule. This new approach allows the delivery of continuous updates and improvements to these AI services independently from the main iET® Enterprise Technology platform. This ensures that iET Solutions customers always have access to the latest AI advancements. With iET® Enterprise Technology 17.2.9 and newer versions, they simply install the AI components using the dedicated iET® AI installer. iET® AI 4.1.0 focuses on making the setup process simpler and more user-friendly. It offers flexible installation options and automated setup, ensuring a smooth experience. The installer also helps verify necessary software components and provides options for deployment in different computing environments. One of the most exciting advancements is the improved Semantic Search service. This new feature significantly speeds up search results, making them up to 40 times faster while using less memory. This powerful search is driven by a new AI model specifically optimized for both German and English, capable of understanding and processing large amounts of text, equivalent to multiple pages of a book. This means users can find the information they need in extensive manuals or complex technical documentation with greater accuracy and context. Furthermore, this release includes enhanced prompt engineering and support for large language models (LLMs) via the OpenAI API. Customers can use on-premises models like Llama, Mistral or cloud-based models like Gemini or ChatGPT.
