UNICOM® Global Releases Focal Point™ 7.2.1
MISSION HILLS, CA – December 14, 2017 - UNICOM® Global has announced the release of Focal Point™ version 7.2.1. Focal Point™ is a comprehensive portfolio planning solution that market-driven teams can use to make collaborative, objective decisions to deliver products, projects and services of the highest market, customer and business value. Focal Point™ reduces the complexity of managing information from various sources such as emails, documents and spreadsheets and provides a collaborative centralized environment for requirements, products and project data.
Focal Point™ version 7.2.1 comes with improved visualization of data using advanced grouping and sorting of structural data. It has improved the visualization of relational/traceability data using D3 based visualization charts, enabling the customers to make quicker data driven decision for portfolio and product management. It has also improved its reporting capabilities by enabling export of statistical data in Excel format from views and dashboards.
Focal Point™ version 7.2.1 now supports Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML2) protocol for Single Sign-On (SSO) based authentication. This allows our customers to integrate with sophisticated third party identification and authentication systems, allowing enhanced security through advanced access control such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), biometrics, and geolocation.
